All Saints
Our next stop was All Saints but we could only get into the vestry, yet we were able to see into the nave. We were not, however, able to see the reportedly well preserved anchorites’ cells where people called anchorites (or anchoresses if female) choose to live out their days in solitude due to their religious devotion. They have reconstructed the anchorite cell that Julian of Norwich lived in and we plan to return to Norwich to visit it.
