On Saturday morning I went out to Marks and Spencer, a department store with a grocery, which is on The Pavement right where High Ousegate and Coppergate merge, about a block from the apartment. I also bought Nancy an Americana (coffee) at the Costa, a coffee shop across from the end of Peter Lane. After breakfast I began my "adventure" involving return the rental. On my way to pick up the car, I passed the Guild Hall, shown here, along Fossgate.
