After Barley Hall they walked to the Minister (cathedral), then to St. Leonard's Hospital, i.e., the ruins of a medieval hospital, and then on to the ruins of St. Mary's Abbey. York Minster is marked on the map, north central. St. Leonard's is along Museum Street and St. Mary's Abbey is in the large green area to the west.
