Red Mount
On our way between All Saints and the Red Mount we met two polite young gentlemen, one from Germany and one from Las Vegas, who asked Meisha what makes her happy? Did you guess it? They were Mormon missionaries, who were happy to part from us when we told them we had Mormon friends. So on we went, passing the library that Andrew Carnegie had donated £500 to building, turning into a beautiful park lane lined on both sides by alternating chestnut and lime trees and climbing a small hill. At the top of the hill was this chapel. During medieval times it stood just outside the city walls and was used by pilgrims who were on their way to Walsingham. There was once a chapel at the bottom and top levels, with a place for the priest to live on a level in between.
