There was nothing disappointing about the performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 8. Our seating, purchased only last night online, was not the best, but we were close to the orchestra, as this picture attests. Even if we could only see one--out of the eight--soloists, we could hear just fine. The sound carried several minutes after the finished each movement.
