A Walk to the University
In the afternoon we decided to take a walk to check out the University of York. Interestingly enough we saw this pheasant just as we approached the university. We easily found the Borthwich Institute for Archives, where Meisha will do additional research. Meisha was expecting a Skype call from David so we had to get back. I went to the music store while she took David's call and found some music for the Valley Four, including a book containing 28 spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan. Speaking of music, this evening we are going to a concert at the Minster to witness a performance of Gustav Mahler's Eighth Symphony. It should be quite spectacular in that setting.
