The Research

For her dissertation Meisha is researching the impact and use of social space by the trade and merchant guilds who produced the Corpus Christi play cycle from about 1376 to about the time of the English Reformation in the 1530s. The first phase of this research, and the object of this trip to the UK, will focus on the cycle which was performed in York. Later she will work on those performed in East Anglia.
